NOTES ABOUT GRADUATION: ** Note that 4th years get to choose their speaker for commencement. Previous choices have included: Honorable Consuelo "Connie" Callahan, Greg Aghazarian, and Professor Dr. William Caldwell. RULE:A committee of 3 students and 3 faculty will decide the speaker. Upon suggestions of the Students. ** ** 4th years also get to honor one professor for professor of the year. Previous honorees have included: David Baird, Dr. William Caldwell, Phyllis Berger, and Tim Lebas. RULE: No repeat Professors within 5 years. ** ** Diplomas are not mailed and must be picked up at the law school office after the issuance of final transcripts. **
BARBRI TIPS:
When paying for Barbri: If paying with a Debt/Visa the payment amount cannot exceed your daily withdrawal limit. You may be able to call your bank and extend the limit for a 24 hour period.
MORAL CHARACTER DETERMINATION TIPS:
Moral Character Determination can take up to 6 months to process...GET IT IN EARLY.... you can't be sworn in until you pass. Tips on Livescan at Stockton Police Department.
Fingerprinting is only conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays during the hours of 8-11:30 am & 1-3:30 pm by appointment only. To get an appointment you must call (209) 937-8177 on the day you wish to have an appointment. (On the day I called there were only 3 appointments available and I called at 8 am). Appointments may not be available. The cost is $17.50 cash or check and you must have an ID with you. You must bring the livescan form that the BAR provides you after the on-line submittal of the Moral Determination. (It has the billing code already on it as well as your information pre-filled).
